I have become rather addicted to Mylot.com, another earning-money-online site. It’s basically like a big message board, and you earn money for making posts, leaving answers to other people’s questions, starting discussions, and uploading photos. It’s the easiest site I’ve found so far - I’ve only been a member for 2 days, but I’m quite addicted already :) I figure that I spend enough time posting on regular message boards anyway, so why not get paid for it?
Mylot.com - I definitely recommend this one!

I’ve been busy joining up with a few of those “paid to read email” sites that I have seen mentioned on different blogs, but one of the biggest pitfalls I’ve realised is that because I’m not in the US, a lot of the offers etc aren’t valid to me. Which is a bit of a shame really, but I have made it my mission to find sites for Australians that work in the same way, just with offers that we can actually sign up with and join. I’ll let you know how I go :)Â
Other than that, there’s not too much to say for today. I am resisting the urge to go down and buy some fashion magazines - magazines will always be a vice! - and I do budget for them, but I’m trying to be strong anyway. Maybe I will be able to borrow some from the library instead. My boyfriend & I had dinner with my Mum last night, and watched a DVD - Lost in Translation. I really liked it!
I am really glad it’s the weekend; I have some website work to do (a freelance project I’m working on) as well as a few other things that I haven’t had time for this week. I have also been writing some articles for Helium Knowledge, a site I found via Supermom, where you get paid for writing about what you know! Supermom says it’s great, so I thought I’d give it a try anyway. I spend so much time online, might as well put it to good use!
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Friday afternoons in the office are always pretty quiet, so I started browsing some of my favourite Finance blogs, and came across a couple of posts about making money online through email surveys etc. In particular was this post, with a lot of great links of sites that she has used and had success with.
Now, I’m not really a stranger to the “making money online” thing; years ago I was a member of Email Cash, and really did receive a cheque (for $20) after several months of surveys and clicking on email links. But then I stopped doing it for some reason, but I figure, what the heck! Might as well join up again and try some of these places - there’s nothing to lose anyway, and who knows, maybe there really is money to be made from some of these sites.
So, I’m going to give this a try - I’ve created a new email account for the emails so I don’t get emails mixed up with spam, etc… now I just have to remember to check it regularly!
