I have been inspired by the many personal finance blogs around the web, and the ways that people are trying to reduce their debts. Though my debt is lower than some, I figured I could still use the motivation of keeping a blog to track my progress, and eventually, start saving again.
I am a self-confessed shopaholic - my downfalls are scrapbooking products, books, makeup & beauty products, and, when the urge hits, new clothes! I have also been travelling a lot in the last few years, and this is where most of my debt stems from: a personal loan taken out in 2005 for going over to London, and credit card debt from general living expenses when I was overseas for 4 months in 2006. But now I’m back home, and working hard to pay everything off, and get back ahead again.
I am inspired by other people’s stories and the way people encourage each other, and I am looking forward to this blogging journey, and hopefully getting to know some of you better, those of you who are on a similar sort of journey :)
